Biography

Jarod King has lived in Santa Barbara County for over 27 years. In 2000 he relocated from Santa Maria to Santa Barbara to attend UCSB. He graduated in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in History; soon after he began his real estate career with Leider Hayes Commercial as a Brokers Assistant. During his time with LHC he was responsible for the research, marketing, and analysis of over 85 sale & lease transactions valued at over $184 million dollars. Working under Principals Stephen Leider and Clarice Clarke he has gained valuable retail experience and helped prepare expansion strategies for numerous national tenants. In 2008 he was recruited by Leider & Clarke as an associate to help build Lee & Associates - Santa Barbara. He plans to continue specializing in the sale and leasing of commercial properties in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
